In my second dream I was Obama’s bodyguard.  I was guarding him while he was at ‘The Front.’  The front in the dream was a stage area from which Obama spoke to the people.  Obama began to walk through a walkway tunnel that leads to another building.  I proceeded to follow him.  I began to walk faster, and then began to run through the tunnel when I did not see him in sight.  I got very nervous.  A female secret service agent began to run tours my direction and told me to run back to the front, where Obama was heading.  I did so, but doubting she had told me the truth.  I then awoke.

As in the dream in yesterday’s post, this one involves a possible threat against Obama.  The dreamer has a professional background in security, so the imagery and settings are not as bizarre as they might be for someone else.  He’s doing in the dream what he generally does in waking life, i.e. protecting people from harm.  There’s no specific threat here as in the previous dream, just a persistent sense of anxiety and uncertainty, extending even to the Secret Service.  Secret Service agents appear in several Obama dreams; they seem to represent people’s sense of his ultimate security, or lack thereof.
